Our facility maintains a temperature between 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit 24/7 to ensure an appropriate climate for storage, fresh-cutting, and staging.
The secret to maintaining shelf life of fresh-cut produce is proper packaging. For our products, we use food-grade bags or trays designed to allow our product to respirate appropriately to promote a healthy shelf life.
Once the product is packaged, it is run through metal detectors to check for any metal contaminants before distribution.
Our state-of-the-art wash system lowers microbial counts in all of our fresh-cut fruits and vegetables. Through weekly lab tests, we confirm our microbial parameters to ensure our customers are receiving the cleanest, safest product possible.
